Website and launch notification

Website notice: October 26, 2026.

If you choose to join, we store your email, the time you joined, and the version of your consent in a separate Cloudflare-hosted database. We use the address only to send one email when SlowGarden is available on the App Store. We do not subscribe you to a newsletter, sell your address, or use it for advertising. Your registration does not create a SlowGarden account. No message is sent automatically when you join.

We keep your address until the launch notification has been sent, or you ask us to remove it. Save the cancellation link shown after a new registration; the page offers a private link that lets you remove your address. Your browser may store that link locally so you can return to it. You may also email anhompeter@gmail.com to request removal.

The website is served by Cloudflare, which processes normal network information to deliver and protect it. To limit automated submissions, our signup service stores short-lived salted network identifiers and request counts. It does not save your raw IP address in the subscriber list. We do not receive your app artwork, Journal, reference photos or backups through this form. This site does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.

The following app policy is reproduced from the app. Its statements about offline content refer to the app, not the optional email form on this website.

SlowGarden Privacy Policy

Policy date: October 24, 2026. Applies to version 1.1.

SlowGarden requires no account and lets you color story drawings and keep a journal offline. The app contains no ads, analytics SDKs, trackers, or developer-operated data servers.

Content on your device

Your artwork, drafts, moods, and journal entries stay in the app's storage on your device. The developer does not automatically receive, read, or analyze this content. Mood entries are not used for emotional scoring, diagnosis, or AI analysis.

Optional reference photos

When you choose a photo with the system photo picker, SlowGarden keeps a smaller, normalized copy in its local artwork storage. The app does not change your original photo or read your whole photo library. The copy is for viewing beside your drawing and is not included in exported artwork images. Artwork backups include the reference photos you selected. The developer does not receive these photos, and SlowGarden does not sync them between devices.

Purchases

The optional Developer Supporter purchase is handled by the Apple App Store. SlowGarden uses StoreKit to verify purchase access and restore purchases. The developer does not receive your payment card details. Apple handles purchase and related service data under its own policies.

Backups and sharing

Content is passed to a location or app you select only when you choose to export, share, or import it. Keep exported backups safe: they may contain personal journal entries and selected reference photos. Device and system backups depend on your Apple and device settings. SlowGarden does not provide developer-operated cloud sync.

Managing your content

You can revisit your artwork and edit or delete journal entries in the app. When you restore an artwork backup, SlowGarden keeps local recovery copies of the previous content. These copies may retain earlier journal entries even after you delete them from your current artwork archive; deleting an entry does not remove it from those recovery copies. Earlier reference photos may also remain in recovery copies and exported backups after you remove or replace the photo in your current artwork.

Deleting the app removes its app-local content, including local recovery copies. It does not delete files you exported, copies held elsewhere, or system backups. Restore Purchases restores purchase access, not artwork or journal entries that were not backed up.

For contact information, use the Support link on SlowGarden's App Store page. If you contact support, the developer receives the information you choose to send. Please do not send private journal entries or complete artwork backups.

This policy will be updated if the app's data handling changes.
