Your drawing saves as you go

Find unfinished and finished artwork together in My Works. Choose Finish when it feels complete. Simply opening a finished work does not change its status; actual painting changes return it to Continue coloring. Make a copy keeps a separate version.

Backups and restoring

Open Books → Settings and backups → Saving & Backups to export or restore a local artwork backup. Keep a copy outside the app before deleting it. Read the restore confirmation carefully. There is no developer-operated cloud sync.

Restore Purchases restores your supporter access, not artwork or Journal entries. Use the original Apple Account in Books → Settings and backups → Settings → Support SlowGarden → Restore Purchases.

Journal and artwork stories

Journal is independent: a mood, a note of up to 140 characters, or both. You can add more than one entry a day and optionally link a drawing. Artwork stories are separate and can contain paragraphs, up to 3,000 characters. Neither is required to finish a drawing.

Sharing starts with the artwork. If you choose artwork with its story, the story is included in full across pages. Private Journal notes are not attached.

Launch notification

With your agreement, we keep your email only to send one launch notification. No email is sent automatically when you sign up. Save the cancellation link shown after joining, or email us to leave the list. This does not create an app account.

Is SlowGarden available yet?

SlowGarden is currently in App Store review. Leave your email for a one-time launch notification. We do not have a release date to promise.

What will be free?

The four launch books—Little Worlds, Quiet Days, Wild Neighbors and Somewhere Else—include 16 drawings. All coloring tools, artwork stories, Journal, saving, manual backups and basic PNG export are free.

Will I need a subscription?

No. The optional one-time Developer Supporter purchase unlocks four more books with 13 drawings, future books and alternate app icons. There is no fixed schedule for new books. The regional price is shown in the app.

Can I use it offline?

Yes. Coloring, saved artwork and Journal work on your device without an account. App Store downloads, purchases and restoring purchases need an internet connection. There is no developer-operated cloud sync.

Do I have to finish every space?

No. Choose your own colors, use tap-to-fill or continuous strokes, and leave blank spaces if you like. Finish means you feel your drawing is complete.

Are my artwork stories and Journal the same thing?

They are separate. You can add a story to an artwork later, or write an independent Journal entry without coloring first. Sharing an artwork does not attach your private Journal.

Which devices and languages are supported?

SlowGarden is made for iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. Its interface is in English. It does not translate the words you write.
